One of the most exciting innovations in gaming technology is the Microsoft Kinect for the Xbox 360, it’s so exciting because of its huge potential for use outside of the gaming world, primarily in relation to 3D imaging but one less obvious use for the Kinect is as a controller for your Powerpoint presentations:

While it does sound a bit ridiculous and I can imagine big emphatic gestures could set slides flying around the screen out of control, it could add something special to your presentations.

I imagine that once the initial awkwardness of waving and clapping wears off, using the Kinect for your slides could add an almost dance-like quality to your physical presence during your speech.

And don’t just think about using it for Powerpoint or Keynote, can you imagine using this tool for Prezi?
